Joseph Gordon-Levitt is excited about meeting the Olympic champion Suni Lee.
Gordon-Levitt, 40, shared his admiration for Lee, 18, during her common appearance At The Late Late Show with James Corden Tuesday night.
“I almost never get hit by a star because I’m a cynical idiot, but especially to be on stage with an Olympic gold medalist is seriously hit by the star right now,” Beginning said the actor to the 18-year-old.
lee won three medals during the games in Tokyo: gold in the individual all-around competition; Silver with Simone Biles, Jordan Chiles and Grace McCallum during the team all-round final; and bronze on uneven bars.

Gordon-Levitt explains further The Late Late Show that he has been a lover of gymnastics for many years, because he already practiced this sport as a “small child”.
“I’ve watched the Olympics a lot and especially the gymnastics events and I know I’m repeating myself now, but I’m just so proud of you and so happy that you did what you did and represented us he said to Lee.
The actor added, “You honestly are such a hero. It’s completely true.”

Corden, 43, also asked Lee if people had told her throughout her career that she had a chance at gold, to which she said, “A lot of people would say that, but I would never listen.

Gordon-Levitt continued to look impressed by Lee when he said, “I love that you said I was having fun with it. I love hearing that.”
According to the host James Corden asked why the actor wasn’t pursuing a gymnastics career, Lee also asked, “Why didn’t you stick with it?”

“I could do a few things. I was mostly on the floor. I could fall. I could jump backwards and things like that,” said Gordon-Levitt.

Gordon-Levitt later showed his back hand jump, shocked the Olympians.
She clapped in response and raised her hands when she gave Gordon-Levitt a “10!”
“How did you do that?” Lee asked that Snowden Actor when the show came on hiatus.
Lee made it Dance with the stars Debut this week with a Jive with partner Sasha Farber.
