Grand Rapids Brewing Company now has an outdoor mini bar
Outdoor social zones were one of the best things to come out of the pandemic. I feel like adding them kept the city alive and the shops open, and let’s face it, who doesn’t love to have a drink outside ?!
You may have noticed that near downtown Grand Rapids, some restaurants have even set up outdoor bars for people to order from. Now the latest is Grand Rapids Brewing Company to open their own “mini bar”. Just in time, because the ArtPrize has officially started and more people are expected in the city center.
The GRBC’s new minibar is located on Fulton Ave between Ionia and the Van Andel Arena. According to the brewery Press release,
The outdoor bar features GRBC’s thirst-quenching Silver Foam Lager, Fish Ladder IPA, Heltzer Seltzer and a rotating selection of new beers from Head Brewer, Ramsey Louder.
What sets their outdoor minibar apart from the rest is that GRBC actually sells groceries from there too. Aside from beers, people can also order thin crust pizzas and stroll around the common areas or enjoy them on one of the terraces at the GRBC.
The minibar is open every Friday to Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. A menu in the minibar is being updated here. All beers are served in 16 oz. Cup and costs $ 5. The pizzas are $ 10, 12-inch round, and you have a choice of cheese, hot peppers, or one of the daily specialty pizzas.
A ribbon was severed last Friday to celebrate the expansion.
GRBC is also currently hiring. They offer a $ 1,000 sign up bonus, benefits, paid vacation, and more. Kitchen staff pay starts at $ 17 / hour.
