Gold trading today at 48,940 rupees per 10 grams; Silver price at Rs 65,000 / kg

The price of 10 grams of gold rose 350 rupees on Thursday, with 24 carats trading at 48,940 rupees and 22 carats at 46,940 rupees.

A kilogram of silver sells for Rs 65,000: an increase of Rs 4,200 from Wednesday.

In Delhi, the price of 24-karat gold is Rs 51,210 while in Mumbai it is Rs 48,940, according to the Goodreturns website.

The price for 10 grams of 22-carat gold in Delhi and Mumbai is 46,950 rupees and 46,940 rupees, respectively.

In Chennai, 10 grams of 24-carat gold will be sold for 49,010 rupees on Thursday, while 10 grams of 22-carat gold will be sold for 45,000 rupees.

The price of gold varies across the country due to excise duties, government taxes, and fees.

In Chennai, 1 kg of silver is priced at 61,000 rupees on Thursday, while in Delhi and Mumbai the metal is sold at 65,000 rupees.

Silver is sold for 65,000 rupees per kg in Calcutta, while in Hyderabad and Bengaluru the metal is sold for 61,000 rupees per kg.
