Gold is trading at Rs 49,640 per 10g today; Silver priced at Rs 65,400/kg

The price of 10 grams of gold rose by 50 rupees on Saturday, with 24 karat gold trading at 49,640 rupees and 22 karat at 47,640 rupees.

A kg of silver is selling for 65,400 rupees, 800 rupees more than yesterday.

In Delhi, the price of 24-karat gold is 52,100 rupees, according to the Goodreturns website, while in Mumbai it is 49,640 rupees.

The price of 10 grams of 22k gold in Delhi and Mumbai is Rs 47,800 and Rs 47,640 respectively.

In Chennai on Saturday, 10 grams of 24-karat gold sold for 50,120 rupees while 10 grams of 22-karat gold sold for 45,940 rupees.

The price of gold varies across the country due to excise, government taxes and duties.

In Chennai today the price of 1kg of silver is Rs 69,300 while in Delhi and Mumbai the metal is selling at Rs 65,400.

Silver is sold at Rs 65,400 per kg in Kolkata, while the metal is sold at Rs 69,300 per kg in Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
