Gold is trading at Rs 49,160 per 10g today; Silver priced at Rs 63,200/kg

The price of 10 grams of gold rose by 70 rupees on Thursday, with 24 carats trading at 49,160 rupees and 22 carats at 47,160 rupees.

A kg of silver is selling for 63,200 rupees, 1,500 rupees more than yesterday.

In Delhi, the price of 24-karat gold is 51,500 rupees, according to the Goodreturns website, while in Mumbai it is 49,160 rupees.

The price of 10 grams of 22k gold in Delhi and Mumbai is Rs 47,250 and Rs 47,160 respectively.

In Chennai on Thursday, 10 grams of 24-karat gold sold for 49,560 rupees, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold sold for 45,430 rupees.

The price of gold varies across the country due to excise, government taxes and duties.

In Chennai today the price of 1kg of silver is Rs 67,300 while in Delhi and Mumbai the metal is selling at Rs 63,200.

Silver is sold at Rs 63,200 per kg in Kolkata, while the metal is sold at Rs 66,000 per kg in Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
