Gold prices in India recorded a minor decline on October 15, 2022. According to the Goodreturns website, eight grams was worth 22,000 gold €36,960 while the price of 24k gold stood at €40,320.
In the state capital, the cost was 22,000 gold €46,350 per 10g while that of 24k gold was at €50,500. In India’s financial capital, the price for 22,000 and 24,000 was gold €46,200 per 10g and €50,400 per 10g. In Chennai the price stood for 22,000 and 24,000 gold €46,900 per 10g and €51,160 per 10g.
Gold prices are determined by several factors, including the strength of the rupee against the US dollar. When the dollar is stronger, gold becomes expensive. The price of gold is also dependent on economic growth and the international market.
In the case of silver, a gram of the precious metal costs €55.30 according to Goodreturns website. The silver price was on Saturday €2 less than on Friday.
In Delhi, Mumbai, Calcutta and Bengaluru silver prices were around €553 per 10g. In Chennai, 10 grams of silver costs €605
